Healing Modalities
Erin draws from over 25 years of training across eight healing modalities to create a session that addresses your unique needs — body, mind, and spirit.
Melt away tension. Restore your calm.
Erin's signature relaxation sessions use long, flowing strokes and gentle rhythmic pressure to calm the nervous system, quiet the mind, and guide your body into a state of profound rest. Ideal for stress, anxiety, and anyone who simply needs to exhale.
Release what's holding you back.
Targeted, sustained pressure reaches the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to break up adhesions, release chronic tension, and restore healthy movement. Particularly effective for persistent pain, postural issues, and sports recovery.
Warmth that reaches bone-deep.
Smooth, heated basalt stones are placed along the body's energy centers and used as massage tools to melt tension deep into the muscles. The warmth dilates blood vessels, improves circulation, and creates a deeply grounding, meditative experience.
Rare expertise. Lasting results.
As a graduate of the prestigious Rolf Institute of Structural Integration, Erin is one of a rare group of therapists trained in Rolfing — a systematic approach to realigning the body's fascial network. Rather than treating symptoms, structural integration addresses the root causes of pain, imbalance, and restricted movement by restoring the body's natural architecture.
Ancient healing, modern results.
Silicone or glass cups create gentle suction on the skin, lifting and separating tissue rather than compressing it. This reverse-pressure technique improves circulation, releases deep fascial restrictions, and draws stagnant blood and lymph to the surface for elimination.
Balance your body's natural energy.
Erin's Level I Reiki certification allows her to channel healing energy through gentle touch or near-touch, supporting the body's natural ability to heal. Energy work addresses the subtle body — reducing stress, clearing energetic blockages, and restoring a sense of wholeness.
Nurturing care for every stage.
Specially adapted for the unique needs of expecting and new mothers, these sessions ease the physical discomforts of pregnancy — back pain, swelling, hip tension — while providing deep emotional support. Postnatal sessions help the body recover, restore, and reconnect.
The healing power of plant medicine.
Therapeutic-grade essential oils are carefully selected to complement and enhance your treatment. Whether you need calming lavender, invigorating eucalyptus, or grounding frankincense, aromatherapy adds a powerful sensory dimension to your healing experience.

Erin is currently training in Ashiatsu — a barefoot massage technique that uses the therapist's feet to deliver broad, deep pressure. Stay tuned for this exciting new addition to her practice.
Common Questions
Everything you need to know before booking your first session with Erin.
Structural integration (also known as Rolfing) is a systematic approach to realigning the body's connective tissue — called fascia — rather than just relaxing muscles. While traditional massage focuses on relieving tension in individual muscles, structural integration addresses the whole body's architecture. It corrects postural imbalances, releases chronic holding patterns, and creates lasting change in how your body moves and feels. Erin is one of very few massage therapists in Vermont with formal training from the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration.
Rolfing is the trademarked name for structural integration developed by Dr. Ida Rolf. It works with the fascial system — the web of connective tissue that surrounds every muscle, bone, and organ. Modern Rolfing is not the painful experience it was once known for. Erin uses a skilled, sensitive touch that works with your body rather than against it. Most clients describe the sensation as "productive discomfort" — like a deep stretch — followed by a profound sense of release and ease.
Many clients notice a meaningful difference after just one session. For chronic pain, postural issues, or structural imbalances, a series of sessions typically produces the most lasting results — Erin will discuss a personalized plan during your first visit. For relaxation and stress relief, a single session can be deeply restorative on its own.
Yes — prenatal massage is safe and highly beneficial throughout pregnancy when performed by a trained therapist. Erin uses specially adapted positioning and techniques to support the changing body at every stage. Prenatal massage relieves back pain, reduces swelling, eases hip tension, and provides deep emotional support. Always let Erin know how far along you are so she can tailor the session appropriately.
Cupping uses silicone or glass cups to create gentle suction on the skin, lifting tissue rather than compressing it. This reverse-pressure technique improves circulation, releases deep fascial restrictions, and supports lymphatic drainage. It feels like a deep pulling sensation — unusual at first, but most clients find it deeply relieving. Cupping can leave temporary circular marks on the skin that fade within a few days.
Your first session begins with a brief consultation so Erin can understand your goals, health history, and any areas of concern. She'll then design a session specifically for you — drawing from whichever modalities best serve your needs that day. Sessions typically last 60–90 minutes. You'll be draped with a sheet throughout, and Erin will check in regularly to ensure your comfort. Most clients leave feeling lighter, looser, and deeply relaxed.
Erin brings over 25 years of experience and a uniquely broad skill set that very few therapists in Vermont can match. She holds national NCBTMB certification, has formal training from the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration, Level I Reiki certification, and a licensed aesthetician background. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all session, Erin draws from 8+ modalities to create a treatment that's genuinely tailored to your body and goals.
